Managed to anchor in a rocky 21ft just south of sugarloaf with regular 4 footers and correct absent begun hitting great sized lanes. Then some yellowtail confirmed up. Stayed there for an hour and unbelievably managed to strike our twenty snapper. A pair of the lanes were being on the smaller facet towards the conclude (nine/10 inchers) and we debated it’s possible conserving some space in our limit for if we locate mangoes in the again country. Nah… get though the gettin is great.
By that time the waves were being legit frightening so we headed in and made the decision it was even far too miserable to zoom all over the backcountry. So we returned the boat and made the decision with our leftover chum and bait we would check out our hand at some bridge fishing. Used some of our KayakinKeyWest friend’s youtube bridge fishing tips and deal with to hook into 3 monster Mangoes. Crap! Shoulda saved some space in our limit! Oh nicely again in the drink. Capped the night time off with my father hooking into a forty” tarpon on a smaller silver facet minnow that busted off on a piling.
All round, an incredible excursion. Blessed to have used it with my aged male. Pretty thankful once more for the tips. No photos this time… again to Michigan right now where I hear it has not gotten significantly warmer than 30 levels… woof.
