I have a experience this is a dumb dilemma, but I'm inquiring in any case:
How do skiffs without having stringers — all those where by the “flooring” of the cockpit is in essence the other side of the hull bottom — get their structural integrity?
Or another way to request the very same dilemma: why do some skiffs — like my 17T, for case in point — have to have the stringers current and intact to not flex and shudder?
Is the hull itself just created in another way for larger rigidity in skiffs that don't make use of stringers?…
